Oops! I forgot the woudned SKeleton's regeneration last turn. It fully regenerated (the one next to Eldrith). emoticon

Attack rat + skeletons (1d6=1, 1d6=6, 1d6=4, 1d6=2, 1d6=2, 1d6=3)

Grr, miss again.

Amulet of holy fire on N skeleton (1d6+5=10)

If I survive I can use the amulet of healing as well, if necessary..

Can't get more than that one regardless of what I do, so NE, NE.
Attack S: 3-hit, 5+3+3S-3T=8w, slain.

P.S. Unless I can use Blades of Death with a bow, I assume that's only melee combat?

I think taht some of you are forgetting that there is a wall around the inner Tomb chamber. Notice the relatively wide grey wall around the Tomb one square distant from the tomb/coffin.

I will assume that Attalus would have stayed where he was with knowledge that he could not attack through the wall.... emoticon

I will also assume, Cutlass, that Attalus would not have used the Bone Blade without the possibility of a death-blow unless you tell me otherwise.

Everone please remember that there are walls (wider grey lines) separating the inner tomb chmber from the rest of this large room.

I have no chance to deathblow the skeletons so I'll use my boneblade annyway. Didn't see the wall there emoticon

he misses and does no damage!

Can I move SE from there?

Presuming so, Move SE & attack SW:
5-hit, 3+3+4S-3T=7W, dropped
D/B: 1-Miss
BoD Attack: 5-hit, 4+3+4S-3T=8W, dropped.

If I can't move, then shoot the Wmost Skeleton:
5-hit, 5+3S-3T=5W, still dropped, but can't take out the other one.

OW Edit: Jaraile is kinda trapped with warriors and the wall in the way. So... one dead Skeleton from the bow & arrow attack. emoticon

Eldrith slays the last Skeleton with a ball of fire.

Combat Over! Results soon to come.

Remember that the objective must still be accomplished.

Quote from Adventure Book follows:

Once the Monsters are defeated, each Warrior may move to a square adjacent to the tomb and lay his artefact on the tomb lid, in an attempt to exorcise the evil that dwells within it.

At the start of the next turn, during the Power Phase, each player must roll 1D6. If any of the dice score a 1, take another Event Card as the evil spirit summons vile creatures to his aid.

Once these are killed, the Warriors may try again. This continues until the Warriors do not roll any 1s, at which point the spirit is destroyed and the evil lifted.



I will allow each player to roll 1d6, but will only require four 1d6 rolls, since the adventure was designed for four warriors. Therefore, Eldrith will not roll.

Combat Results: Each warrior gets 204 gold.

Now, the exorcism must happen. Each warrior will get one full turn to move into postion aroun the tomb. Then each warrior except Eldrith will submit 1d6 immediately after the Power roll.

Good roll there!

However, we need all the warriors to gather around the tomb in order to perform the exorcism.

So, I will let this roll count for the first attempt once all the warriors have moved to where they need to be. In the meantime, I will move Attalus two steps North where his excorcism attempt will count... emoticon

Vittor moves to stand near Helion at the tomb, so that he may heal the healer if needed.

Cast out Daemon! (1d6=1)

Oops! Vittor will be failing to cast out the daemon. However, this doesn't happen until all the warriors are in place and during the first Power Phase in which all the warriors are in place. There is one Power Phase and Event Phase that will happen before all the warriors get into position...... See how we are all getting ahead of the scenario. emoticon

You are correct, SD....

However, since some have already submitted their rolls before that time, we know that Vittor's roll fails and will trigger an Unexpected Event. Therefore, I will not be asking for any more rolls at the proper time. emoticon

Knowing this early on shouldn't change too much what the warrior's are doing because they should be trying to prepare for monster anyway. lol

EDIT: slight game acceleration. I am skipping the next three warriors' turns, because they would have been waiting where they are for this turn. Helion heals the last one needed (on Vittor).

Dead Body Event


The warriors find the dead body of a Barbarian clutching a bag to his chest.

Helion retrieves the bag....

Please roll 1D6, Aecrylis, to see what happens.

Here is the table:

1: Poison Gas! You have set off a trap. Every model on this board section takes 1D6 Wounds with no modifiers for Toughness or armour (OW will roll this). The bag is empty.

2-3: Trap! A spear shoots out of the wall and inflicts 2D6 Wounds (please roll) on the Warrior who took the bag. The bag turns out to be empty.

4-6: Treasure. The bag contains (1D6 x 100 -- please roll) gold.
to be given to the Warrior who took it. Draw another Event card immediately (OW).

Its not a relic, but it does pull at he poor priest, Helion reaches in and pulls out 400 gold pieces!

Nudging Jaraile...

Jaraile is afraid of the Ogres! (-1 to hit, rolled a 3 for fear test). He decides to stuff his amulet down into his bag so that he might be able to hit the ogre next to Vittor.

He hits the ogre once (1 wound) then a second time with his Blades of Death skill (1 wound as well).

Eldrith fails to break away from the Ogre that is about to attack her (rolled a 2), but she is not afraid (6), though maybe she should be. She then wounds the crature with her staff (2 wounds). She fails twice in her attempts to nudge the Ogre with wind... (wasted 4 power points).
