Encounter Nurgle's Rot!
Jarailed and Attalus rush forward to help a stranger with a plague-ridden face, upon reaching the stranger they realise that offering aid was not a good idea. The figure slumps in their arms, dead, his cowl falling to one side and revealing his plague-ridden face. Boils and pustules cover the stranger's cheeks and his eyes weep a thick yellow fluid.
Roll 1D6 for each Warrior, adding his Toughness (not including armour) to the score. If the score is 7 or greater that Warrior has avoided contracting the plague. if the score is less than 7 that Warrior has caught Nurgle's Rot.
More details will be coming if either of these warriors fail in their Toughness test.

Dreaded Nurgle's Rot Effects
Attalus has caught the dread disease, Nurgle's Rot!
quote: The Warrior's Toughness is immediately reduced by -1. Furthermore, if an Unexpected Event occurs during the Power Phase any one of the Warrior's other characteristics, except Wounds, is reduced by -1 (your choice). If any of the Warrior's characteristics are reduced to zero he dies.
The Warrior suffers from Nurgle's Rot until either he dies, is given 3 healing potions or - if he makes it back to a Settlement - pays 2,000 gold to be cured.
Upon being cured the Warrior's profile returns to normal.
quoted from Dungeon Event #24 in the RolePlay Book.
Attlus loses 1 Toughness (now at 2T). This is a very dangerous disease that he has caught!

Re: Dreaded Nurgle's Rot Effects
Rolled a 3, which is either a pass or fail depending on whether I'm holding the amulet or not... Quite probably not if I'm rushing forward to help a wounded stranger...

Re: Orders and Chat Combined
Oops! I had forgotten about the amulet....
I will assume a 50% chance that he is. 1-3 = NO, 4-6 = YES. I will let you do the roll, SD.
Otherwise -- for future reference -- we should probably have some type of rule/standing order for when Jaraile intends to use the amulet and when he will not.. (just a suggestion)

Re: Orders and Chat Combined
Amulet (1d6=4) So that's a yes then.
I'd assume he's always holding the amulet unless there's a specific reason for him not to. From reading it, it looks like he has to be actually holding it in his hand.

Healing Attalus?
Jaraile, Eldrith, and Attalus each have a healing potion.
If the party would like to help Attalus out, he could drink these and possbily save his life as well as avoid paying 2000 gold at a settlement to be healed.
This would, however, take away some of the party's "insurance" against annihilation in combat.
Edit (observation): Attalus currently has enough gold to pay for training AND to cure his Nurgle's Rot problem.

Re: Healing Attalus?
I'll offer my healing potion if necessary - but I think it only fair he use his own, since he has one...
Attack: 6 2 6 5 3 5
I'm not entirely sure if the 2 hits and I'm not in a position to look it up properly or not. iirc it should be 1+ (except 1 always misses with WS5 but -1 on attack roll for amulet).

Re: Orders and Chat Combined
It takes three healing potions -- all being drunk at one time -- to heal this dread disease. This is why I neither recommend nor advise against this cure. It could leave the warriors fairly vulnerable.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The 2 is a miss because of the -1 from the amulet. However, you are welcome to decide NOT to use the amulet against these enemies. Just like changing your weapon at the beginning of your turn, you may either put away or take out your amulet as well.
A specific reason NOT to hold the amulet in this particular combat would be that it is more likely a hinderance than a help in defeating Snotlings, but that is your judgment call. But, it does grant that +1 Toughness too.
Whatever the case Jaraile has slain at least FIVE Snotlings.
If we assume that Jaraile was NOT using the amulet, he killed all six Snotlings -- no damage rolls needed.
If we assume he is using the amulet, then a death-blow to the last one is still allowed (a seventh 1D6 roll). The first death-blow to hit was a miss (2). Then Jaraile continued with his Blades of Death Skill (a second attack, since the first one hit the first target).

Re: Orders and Chat Combined
I'll stick with the amulet for now, on the grounds that snotlings can be lethal if you're not careful.
Last deathblow - 2. so it's still there...

Re: Orders and Chat Combined
I'll risk death and wait 'till we arrive in a settlement to rid me of the disease.
On the odd chance of me actually dying and if there are still 3 healing potions left I would compensate your loss with gold
Attack snotto east of me.
Attack on snotling E (1d6, 1d6=[3], [5])
I think that's a hit and kill.
Deathblow on the other snotto.
DB on snotling SE (1d6, 1d6=[5], [4])
*coff coff*
Ps: spinningdice, we're waiting for you in DWQ

Combat Over!
Combat Over! Each warrior gets 20 gold from the monstrs killed.
Treasure:
Short Spear (BDEW) 10 gold
No modifier for strength (in melee combat) or Thrown against BS; Strength as warrior; Range 2; May be retrieved after combat.
Treasure Turn: Eldrith or Helion (yes, either of them may use this weapon)
I am awaiting Jaraile's treasure decision before changing the turn text, but the map is correct and there is no Unexpected Event.

Re: Orders and Chat Combined
Give Eldrith the Spear, on the grounds that Helion seems to have a few ranged weapons already.
E, NW, W. Explore at end of turn.

Oops! It seems I forgot to give Helion a chance to heal.
I will assume he would rather have a certain +3 wounds for himself (with Hands of Healing) rather than the chance of his Finger of Light spell failing.

Re: Orders and Chat Combined
I finally nudged Helion.
A huge Tomb Chamber lies beyond the doorway.
There are gray walls providing an inner chamber as well as surrounding the outside of the chamber. These walls hinder LOS and movement.

5-hit, 2+4+4S-3T=7W (2left)
2nd Attk (NE)
1-Miss.
OW EDIT: The first attack was actually a kill. A Skeleton only has 5 Wounds.
